Once again this is an adapted triolet, but the almost-form seems to suit the subject. I spent a good fifteen minutes watching this little bird this morning as she went about her secret ablutions.
Round and shy and quickly darting
in and out of cover,
her cheeky tail, skyward pointing.
Round and shy and quickly darting
in and out of thick Spring planting,
wings outspread to catch the shower.
Refreshed and shy and quickly darting
in and out of cover.
